Artwork Requirements for Etching

For etching requirements we need a TIFF or EPS file that has been VECTORISED.

You can see that a smooth edge is required and that a jagged edge does not provide a clear image.

If you have doubts about your artwork file the best test is to magnify the image to highest level and then observe the curves.

Are they smooth as in the top image (correct) or pixilated as in the bottom image (wrong).

Solution:

Request that your graphic artist redraws the image (Using applications such as Illustrator or Freehand). We can also provide this service upon request.
